Russia is seeing a return to informer-based prosecution, where people denounce other people for dissenting thoughts. These “snitchings” that inform on others to law enforcement for statements against the war in Ukraine or other “political crimes” are landing people in penal colonies for years!
The way Trump fawns over Putin and wants to be like him, and the way he has said he will crack down on his political opponents, there is a very real possibility that this could happen in the United States.
As has been repeatedly explained before and after the election, Trump’s plans will most likely NOT lower people’s grocery bills!
“The food price inflation that stunned the U.S. — and other parts of the world — in 2021 and 2022 had complicated causes that are difficult to unwind, from the pandemic to the Ukraine war to avian flu. And many economists think Trump’s plans could actually make food prices rise.
“As of October, U.S. prices for food eaten at home were up 28% from 2019, according to government figures released Wednesday. But the growth peaked in 2022; between October 2023 and October 2024, food prices rose 2%, which was lower than the overall inflation rate.”
“Asked how he would lower grocery prices during a September town hall in Michigan, Trump said tariffs would help U.S. farmers. But David Ortega, a professor of food economics and policy at Michigan State University, said that food producers rely on imported goods like fertilizer, equipment and packaging materials. If they’re forced to pay more for those items, they will raise prices, Ortega said.
“U.S. farmers also could have trouble selling their goods overseas, since other countries would likely respond with retaliatory tariffs, he said. Around 20% of U.S. agricultural production is exported each year, according to the USDA.”
CNN has reported that Trump is going to make Stephen Miller his head of policy. This is the same guy who tweeted “Yes. We started a new denaturalization project under Trump. In 2025, expect it to be turbocharged.”
“Denaturalization” means taking away the citizenship from naturalized CITIZENS. So if you don’t look like him, you could very well be getting your naturalized citizenship revoked. Then deported.
This is a guy who attended a white supremacists event in February 2022. He has already become known for advocating limiting citizenship of LEGAL immigrants and also has “made a name for himself for his vicious anti-immigrant policies, which include proposals to build mass deportation camps and deploy the military and the national guard to seal the border, promising a forthcoming reality of ‘large-scale raids’ and ‘throughput facilities.'”
You think the first four years were a public health disaster?
If Trump and RFK Jr. do even half of what they’ve said they would, our country is definitely heading for serious public health problems!
They’ve already said they would limit and control the FDA and the CDC. Overall, this administration will definitely continue its work of undermining science and scientific regulatory authorities.
If you voted for him, you supported what he stands for.
It’s not just about hoping he lowers your costs or ends abortion or puts Republicans back in power. You can’t say your one pet issue stands alone and everything else doesn’t matter.
He has repeatedly and loudly promoted and encouraged the following:
division between white males and everyone else
devaluing women, lying as a lifestyle
taking away basic rights from LGBTQ+ people
hating people not like you
committing crimes — including felonies — without consequence
ignoring the rule of law
setting aside the Constitution
regaining/retaining power whatever it takes
ignoring experts
mocking science
partnering with white nationalists
making his rich friends richer
giving tax breaks to rich corporations who support him
casting aside our alliances with other countries, and
admiring “strong man” autocrats who use fear to make everyone do what they want.
Whether you voted for him because you want cheaper goods or you think he represents your Christian values (even though he doesn’t seem to have any understanding of them and definitely lives his life in direct opposition to them), if you voted for him, then you also supported all the ideas listed above.
He stands for all those things and wants all those things. And you voted for him.
Trump is appealing to religion as a final push in the campaign.
Yes, the guy who actually embodies everything that Christianity and the Bible CONDEMNS wants people to think he’s religious and supports religion. He doesn’t care. He’ll use whatever will get him back in power. Period.
During a National Faith Advisory Board event, Trump said, “I think this is a country that needs religion. They’re trying to stymie you, this new administration, this new radical left group of people.”
Again, there was ZERO evidence of any kind of systematic fraud in the 2020 election. They filed 62 lawsuits to challenge the results and ALL OF THEM were dismissed for lack of evidence! The system is designed to catch fraud and you can’t say it’s rigged just because you don’t like the results. Trump, Vance, and many other Republican leaders have refused to admit that Trump lost in 2020. When he loses again in 2024, we’re going to have a repeat of all that nonsense. 🙄

How did the war start? By Russia invading? Yup! That’s Ukraine’s fault, that Russia insists on stealing the land around it!
Just imagine how our international relationships would change, not just with Ukraine, but across the world, if he were to be reelected!
